Error in Most recent Update

I imported the most recent league file and found that my entire team changed to a bunch of players I had never heard of (except 1 who was never really good to start with). Has this happened to other people and can we get it fixed.

Weird, I'm not seeing any difference in team composition. But we'll fix it.

Can you confirm you're seeing different players on this screen (I'm wondering if this is a league file issue or a OOPT bug)

here is my screenshot. Also when I click on any players name it sends me to a different players info page so I guess something happened to the database. I am not able to re-update the file to check (because my file is up-to date) maybe if you can send me the files as an attachment I can replace them and see if it fixes the issue.

I think we'll try a rebuild of the file, as another team was having the same problem. There is one outstanding structural issue that I can resolve, that may fix everything.

Might take me a few hours, but this will be the approach I take:

Hold on, I'm uploading a new version of the league file right now.... can you test it out? if it dosen't work, then we'll rebuild.

the update did not work right. My team and about 6-7 others basicaly vanished this time.

Anyone brave enough to test out the most recent updated file? I just uploaded one.

I downloaded the new file and the Winnipeg players look OK. The game date is 12/21/2015. I get an error 201 message (connect error) when I try to export. I'll try redownloading the settings file and try again.

Sometimes the server is a little fickle, and you can export a few minutes later. Worst case, 30 minutes later. I've had this happen to me in other leagues as well (I play in foolx, and their servers do the same thing on occasion).

Edmonton downloaded file - and exported ok.


The players are correct but rosters rearranged some-- I suppose this was part of the fix.

Several FA bid messages seemingly were intended for other teams but that is minor.

Clicking on players now bring up the correct players.

Ok my rosters are re-arranged which I can live with.

CF Joe Gibson however was released. I DID waive and DFA him but my intention was to pull him back if he went unclaimed (basically just fishing for someone to claim him). Is this just my fault (ie. not fully understanding the waive and DFA issue) or is this a result of the file problem? If it's my fault well I guess that's the breaks. If not I'd like him back since I had to pay his exhorbitant salary anyway so I may as well get some use out of him.

Unfortunately that's how DFA and waivers work. Since the DFA period has just been elongated, that's an honest mistake and I'll restore him to your team next sim.

If it's too difficult to restore my finances, I think it cost me about 55+ million to pay him out, I understand and he can remain off the roster.

If that's an easy fix I would appreciate it as this was a pretty big blow to lose 55 million AND the player because of a dumb mistake. But I can understand if it gets too complicated. I just don't want to have to essentially pay him twice as it will kill my team.

Everything looks ok to me now. again roster rearanged a bit, mainly in the minors. Thanks!
