problem with Extensions?
Just wanted to bring it up in case it becomes a bigger problem.
MR Hector Seanez is currently on the second year of a 2 year contract paying him 5 mil annually. I went to offer him an extension and clicked "meet demand" and he only wants $680,000.
He has won 29 games in two years with a good era. I am wondering if anybody else has had this? I know it benefits me but could be a big problem with the league if it is happening too much. Any thoughts?

I know there have been quite a few extensions this offseason, but so far none of them have jumped out at me as being unbelievable values. Something to definitely keep an eye on.
Maybe Seanez is about to go on a career nosedive?
If we notice its happening alot, maybe we restrict offseasone extensions.

Re: problem with Extensions?
I'll admit, I noticed this thread after seeing (and "meeting player demand") for William Correa to sign a 2 year extension for just over 8,500,000 per year, to be simmed tomorrow. Now, the Mirror Man has been pretty injury prone the first two years in the league, which led to a slight decline in his ratings, and was getting a whopping 16.5M a year prior to this. Sorry, I saw that and jumped on it. After seeing this thread, I'm feeling a tad guilty.

In another league I'm in we just accept this as part of the financial model of the game. Sometimes it's an indication that the player is about to take a "ratings hit". I don't see anything wrong with signing a guy to a deal in line with what is being requested.

Sounds reasonable to me.
We just need to keep an eye on it and be honest with yourself when making offers. We're all here for the same reason, fun. I don't think anyone here is looking to exploit loopholes.
Unless something is way out of the ordinary, I see no reason to raise any red flags.
