Last ammy draft we used the chat box right on the forum. It functions the same as a chatroom would.

I think we are planning to run it that way again since I don't believe that everyone here uses AIM.

Herrera is only a '2' at 'bunt-for-hit'. I think he'd be better as the #3 pick, not #1.
just sayin'...

his sacrifice bunting more than makes up for that! Very Happy

also, and idea for next year, can we have the entire college season play out before the draft? maybe start the college season in january?

I love DRAFT TIME!!

cheers

I think we tried that. The earliest the feeders can start is February 15th, if I remember correctly. Otherwise it screws with the schedule generator since anything before that date is still considered 'off-season' by the game.

I thought I had it to where the season ended at the same time of the draft, looks like i was a few weeks off...I can adjust it next for next year.

i've used this draft utility in other leagues, but here i can't save my draft list in the utility. every time i hit save it just deletes everyone in the list.

anyone else having this problem?

I've not had any problem saving my draft list in the utility. Seems to operate as it has in other leagues that have used it as well.

A question though, are we actually using the draft utility for this year's draft? Earlier posts made it sound as if we were handling the draft with in-game draft lists and the chat box on the forum? Perhaps I misread and it is a combination of the draft utility list and the chat box? Can someone clarify please? I'm fine either way, I just need to know where to be and when. Very Happy

It is indeed a combination.

I just activated the utility in-case you guys at the top of the order knew who you wanted and felt like picking early.

The actual draft will be taking place live in the chatbox tomorrow at 8pm EST. If you cannot attend the live draft then you can submit an in-game list. We will be importing teams prior to starting the draft. If you are not there but had exported a list, when we click auto select, it will pull from your draft list.

As far as the utility goes, JT or myself, whoever is running the draft, will simply input those picks into the game and proceed from there.

Basically just a little head start.

Well, NO took Hadsell who I was hoping would slip down to me at #6. I knew it was wishful thinking, but until your #1 rated player on your board is gone you have to hold out hope! Hopefully we still get a shot at a player who can help erase our Hadsell thoughts. He'll definitely be a player whose career I follow.

I hope he has a team behind him by then.

We are trying to figure out why a few teams are getting an error 999 when trying to import.

Toronto
Louisville
San Antonio are giving me an error 999

Washington DC shows the export is from an old game version, what are you running, Dan?

EDIT FWIW - Ive got good exports from San Diego, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia. Doesn't look like anyone else has exported yet.

Washington DC is back on track with a good export.

JT and I are in the chatbox.

Draft will be starting in about 30 minutes!
